Terms of Service for PC Service & Repair

Authorization

The customer is engaging Adept Internet, LLC, located at 543 3rd Ave SW, Perham, MN 56573 as an independent contractor for the specific purpose of repairing, reformatting, or upgrading a personal computer. Hereafter, the customer will be known as the "Client", Adept Internet, LLC will be known as the "Service Provider".

Indemnification

Client agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold the Service Provider harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees as a result of services provided by the Service Providor. This includes Liabilities asserted against the Service Providor and any subcontractors, agents, clients, servants, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed.

Client also agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider against Liabilities arising out of any injury to person or property caused by any products or services sold.

Software Warranty

There are no warranties for computer repair that involve software issues, virus problems and/or spyware problems. Upon the completion of the repair the technician will demonstrate to the customer that the problem has been fixed at which time a repair summary form will be signed by the computer owner acknowledging that the problem has been fixed. Any subsequent calls regarding software, virus, and/or spyware related problems will be charged as a new service request.

Hardware Warranty

Repair Work involving hardware carries a 30 day warranty from Service Provider. Hardware components may be covered by manufacturer's warranty only as applicable by said manufacturer.

Data

It is the Client's sole responsibility to backup all data before the Service Provider will initiate work. The Service Provider shall not be held responsible for any data loss, alteration or corruption. The Service Provider encourages Client to diligently back up any data deemed important or irreplaceable.

Data Recovery Service

Upon Client Request, Service Provider will attempt to retrieve Client's data. There are no warranties expressed or implied for any data recovered. All fees are applicable even if no data is recovered - Client is requesting the Service Provider to ATTEMPT to recover data.

Software Installation

Service Provider will only install software for which the Client holds a valid and legal license with media. If the Client is unable to produce adequate documentation of ownership, Service Provider will help the Client to procure the appropriate licenses, rights, or media at the Client's expense.

Payment

Payment in full is due upon completion of requested services. Hardware will not be released to the Client without payment in full. Cash or Check is accepted at this time. There is a $30 fee for any returned check.

Time frame for Repairs

All computers are serviced first come, first served basis. Repairs my take several days due to the nature of the problem and the time required to secure replacement components. Service Provider will work diligently to complete all repairs in a timely manor.

Privacy Policy

Service Provider will work to ensure the Client's privacy. Service Provider uses personal information only to process Client's service request.
